I chose BISS GCH Saddlehills Late Knight Scramble to breed to Paris for several reasons. The 1st being how balanced and beautiful the dog is. 2nd. His conformation strengths are what I feel would compliment Paris. 3rd. Scrambles pedigree represents a very solid proven group of sound, talented dogs from very reputable breeders that have the upmost respect for the labrador breed.
Scrambles sires pedigree is heavy with Dickendall and Tabatha lines. These are lines that have continually produced top dogs in the show ring and as strongly in all the working fields at top levels including many Master Hunters.
Scrambles dams pedigree is just as impressive with outstanding credentials in show and field dogs.
My foundation bitch MH Macy was a g-daughter of Ch Delby's Anchor Steam. I believe her incredible intelligence, trainability and love of birds came from Steamer. Scrambles sire is a g-son of Steamer! a loose line breeding there.
Hyspire Darktown Strutter is in the pedigree. He was one of the most beautiful Labs to enter the showring and boy did he have a STRUTT! I wanted his pedigree in my lines somewhere at some point. I felt now was a good time.
